Having an alphabet theme to guide my drawings has been a great tool to keep me from floundering, but it's getting hard to stay in the fairytale theme, because I keep thinking of things that start with "C" that I want to draw now that aren't fairytale oriented!Urchinatorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04254312000325517161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1134043157010622201.post-83857823578159928182010-05-05T13:17:12.538-07:002010-05-05T13:17:12.538-07:00What a great start to your Blog, it looks great. Painted all the swirly folds in black and white and then started coloring over them! I was reading a paper about Vermeer's process and wanted to try it out. The ABC theme is giving me enough direction to keep going, but all these alphabet drawings are probably gonna vary wildly as I try out different techniques...and maybe even veer off into different styles!Urchinatorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04254312000325517161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1134043157010622201.post-55869066760215664662010-04-28T13:00:42.780-07:002010-04-28T13:00:42.780-07:00This is an exciting project! I was curious, do you do the values first, then layer the color?DCJRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17636330882549285985noreply@blogger.com
